Short for Local Indoor And Outdoor Navigation System, it is an android app developed for a course at Linköping University. In a group of five we were tasked with developing an app that could handle indoor navigation.
A big part of the focus was to work with agile methods, to speed up the development. Users were able to add maps of their own buildings, and place interesting markers (such as where the toilet is, or the nearest elevator) for other users to see. Black markers may be placed by any user, and an Admin may later "confirm" their location, making it green. Firebase was used as a database to allow access to the maps and user accounts.
The project was made together with the consulting firm Combitech. They acted as product owners and helped us with the agile development process.
